Rules

Download the RtD rules and class abilities here, and make sure you have read and understood them before heading into play! The same goes for the Artemis Code of Conduct that we organize our LARP's by. There's also a map over the world we play in you can check out here:

Play in- and outside the tavern

We obviously invite everyone to play at the tavern during both nights and days, though there might be a lot more interesting play at night. There will be live music on and off during all evenings from around eight o'clock, some of it lively - this is a huge part of RtD. Should you not wish to sing along, or play on the narrative, we encourage you to take the quieter business outside by the campfires or in the shady corners around the buildings.

During the day there will be hangovers of course, real or played, but if one is so inclined there will plot to be had as well. We encourage everyone to check out the questboard which will be active from Thursday morning, you should also connect across parties and create relations for yourself, and if you're new, we can hook you up with pre-plot as well through the characterform, to be played out during the day.

It is very much allowed to go explore the quaint wilderness around the tavern, maybe pick up some rare herbs, or look for treasure, but be warned, the roads are dangerous and who knows what may be lurking behind the bushes.

We urge everyone to please respect the in and offgame signs which marks the areas where you're expected to be in or out of character. This will enhance the experience for everyone. Of course we can all need a break, and should you find yourself in need of one, you are more than welcome to visit the safety tent, which will be offgame INSIDE. See an overview of the entire area  below;

Parties & solo players

We do recommend that you join RtD with a party of at least 2 other players, however it IS entirely possible to join as a solo player passing through, maybe looking for a party to join while here? The maximum of members in a party should be 7 players. If you or your party wish to be plot-connected to other players, simply fill out the character form here, and we will get back to you at one week before the LARP at the latest.

Physicality

Always, and we do mean always, clear physical play with the other player off-game beforehand. This counts in all instances of physicality, be is bardic sexual or flirtatious play, paladinesque duels or fighter bar brawls. Ask before you touch. Any kind of physical assault will result in immediate expulsion from the event. There are many ways to play with physicality without touching, and we'll go through those at the briefing before going in-game.

Drugs & Alcohol

It's obviously allowed to drink alcohol at this LARP during in-game time, however we reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone, who we deem to have had more than enough, and the right to escort them to their tent if so. Drugs are a hard no, and results in expulsion, this includes weed. No amount of either drugs or alcohol will be considered an excuse, to not follow the above rules of playing.
