What kind of larp is the road to Daggerfort

This LARP is a cozy little tavern LARP designed to mix PnP players with live roleplayers. The LARP is inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons, but mixed with a good deal of homebrew content due to creative freedom and copyright. The LARP is about fellowship, storytelling and life on the road, enjoyable by both seasoned larpers and first timers. So bring your party, share your stories drink and dance and get yourself a much needed long rest, regain your HD and spell slots before venturing forth into the unknown.

I mean - there'll be beer, bards and babes, what's not to love!?

So what about magic and abilities?

Choosing a class for your character also determines your abilities throughout the LARP, magic, or otherwise. The set of rules and abilities for the respective classes can be downloaded here.

Tavern... So it's non-stop drinking?

No. There will be alcoholic drinks served throughout the LARP, however the barkeep's tolerance of how drunk you can get before he stops serving you, is limited during the daytime hours. There will be sober guards present all days. But there are plenty of other things to do! During the days maybe check out the wanted posters, get to know the staff or the nomads passing through - or challenge someone to a duel!

Security?

Open fire is -only- allowed at the designated fireplaces. There will be fire extinguishers at every fireplace, in the bar, and 2m between every tent including 15 m between every fire extinguisher throughout. The main road towards the player area will be clear at all times since it's a fire access road.

This is a 16+ LARP, which means people under the age of 18 will be able to participate insofar as they are accompanied by a person over 18. They will also be checked in with a WHITE bracelet visible at all times, indicating their age to the barkeep and other players for transparency and security on all parties.

A social safety host will be provided to players in need of emotional support throughout the LARP..

A first aid host will be present in the offgame area every day, provided with first aid kits and medical resources. The entire area in and around the wooden houses and structures are video monitored, in case of any vandalization or assault.

Make sure to read and understand the Artemis LARP's Code of Conduct, before you head into play, to make sure we're all going to have a good time. Any failure to comply with the social safety rules described there will result in immediate expulsion from the event.
